Two things make it different from a manual screening process. First, recruiters never leave iCIMS to order or track a check. Second, the result comes back into iCIMS by itself, on the candidate record, so nobody re-keys details or saves reports by hand.
How do background checks work inside iCIMS?
The flow has three stages, all on the candidate your team already works in.

Order on the profile. On the candidate in iCIMS, pick a Veremark check package and order. The candidate is invited automatically, so there's no re-keying and no second login. Packages are configured once in Veremark, so recruiters order from an approved, current list.
Track in iCIMS. As Veremark runs the checks, the status updates on the candidate record. Your team follows progress without opening another system.
Result on the record. When screening completes, the cleared result and the full report are available on the candidate in iCIMS, ready to review.

Request your iCIMS Client ID from the iCIMS support team and share it with Veremark. Veremark's technical team then initiates the integration and walks you through the setup. There's no engineering on your side and nothing to host; the main dependency is iCIMS issuing the Client ID.
