We are excited to announce that Veremark, along with 15 other companies, has been selected for the Growth Programme of accountancy and business advisory firm BDO UK LLP. It will be a four-month intensive programme that is dedicated to helping high growth technology businesses to scale up by providing each business with the skills, tools and connections needed to maximise their growth.

Each programme will focus on one of three themes: tech for the future of work, innovation in RegTech, and tech transforming logistics and supply chain. It will be delivered in collaboration with GrowthBuilders who are experts in enabling scale-up and corporate collaboration to drive commercial outputs.

The participants are businesses headquartered across five countries, many of which already have an established global presence. Collectively, they have raised over £41m in funding and have more than 850 employees.

As Veremark now offers many more locations, checks and customisation options in the criteria builder we have been improving the design and workflow to make the process clearer and simpler to use for our clients.

Here are some of the key updates to be aware of:

  • Redesigned '3-step' layout making it easier to scan the full set of checks available and offering more instructions and help text.
  • Clearer credit charges that correspond with the criteria customisations.
  • Ability to 'use' criteria straight away and shortcut to the candidate details screen.

New Feature 2: Automated FCA Regulated Reference Checks

For clients in the UK, we now offer FCA regulated checks as part of our automated employment verification feature. This is an essential check for those hiring senior managers and directors for FCA regulated positions in the UK. Here is how it works:

Add the FCA regulated option to the employment check within the criteria builder.
Previous employers will be asked to nominate a compliance representative to complete the FCA regulated questionnaire via our digital form.
The regulated questionnaire feedback is then displayed neatly within the candidate's Veremark profile and downloadable report.
